Countdowns....

and anticipation of Christmas and New Years!!

One year ago....my 50th Birthday and Mason was one month old! I celebrate another birthday on Wednesday!!

12 days until I visit my Colorado kids who I miss so much!!! They are getting Christmas ready for me and maybe a little snow! :)

Happy Birthday to my best friend, Tricia....today is her 50+ birthday!

Mason turned ONE a month ago and enjoyed Thanksgiving and a little treat I made for him! He's so much fun right now!

We celebrated my birthday and my son-in-law, Nate's birthday this last weekend at an ALL-YOU-CAN EAT Sushi restaurant we like and had a wonderful time! He turned 30! He doesn't look it and still gets carded occasionally! :) Lots of things to be thankful for this Thanksgiving and lots to look forward to! The Colorado kids won't be here for Christmas but will be here for the New Year! I can't wait!

Have a good week!

This is Freedom!!

Enjoy your day off for Veteran's Day and would you say "THANK YOU" to any military personnel that you see today and everyday! You could also buy them a drink, an ice cream or a meal. They are the reason we continue to enjoy our safety and freedom. Thinking of Maureen's son, Shane serving our country in France, Pam's son serving in the US and Lori's nephew, Josh serving in Afghanistan~may they continue to serve and come home safely to their families soon.

The attached video is my friend, Luanne's son Justin performing his new song he wrote to celebrate this holiday. Enjoy!

It's official!

Mason turned one yesterday and had a spiderific party (lots of bugs and spiders). His momma did a fabulous job decorating, creating his cake and all the other treats. He enjoyed the family and friends who came to the park to wish him "Happy Birthday" and ate lots of new things; ie...sour worms, rice crispy treats, gummy worms and cupcakes with buttercream frosting. It was a super fun day! I'm exhausted!!

Enjoying his cupcake!

His spider web cake with a spider on it was made by his momma!

Buggy treats: gummy frogs, centipedes, spiders and worms

Ms. Spider came too with a few of her webs she created!

Brownie cups with chocolate frosting, oreo cookie crumble dirt with worms and spiders.

Mason with mom and grandma!

After eating pizza~ "AM I REALLY ONE????

His parents with his cake.

It's a great day!
His favorite present was his tricycle from his aunt and uncle! What a great day for a precious little one!
