Where Did the Week Go??

It was a busy week! Look who came to see Grandma on Monday??? It was Miss Bella and Sir Dylan. It was so nice we played in the yard. What fun we had!

Bella wanted to pick a flower and then posed so I could take her photo!

Speed got a lot of attention from all of us and loved every minute!

Dylan has been walking for 2 months now and it's so nice when we are outside.
He loves playing in the sandbox.

Don't ya love his little Converse All-Stars??
Look Grandma...I got some sand!
It's pretty cool! He later tasted it and threw it over his head! Boys!!!
Happy Birthday this week to my sister Pat(on the right).
This was taken at my niece Taryn's wedding in May. She is my
sister, Dawn's daughter.
Bella picked a couple more flowers and we put them in this dish.
She was so thrilled and kept coming back to the table to look at the pretty flowers.
Some flowers in my yard.

The end of the week...Hubby and I met up with Kat (from Just A Beach Kat) and her hubby, George in Palm Desert at Mamma Gina's for dinner. What fun we had getting to know each other. Kat is just as nice, fun and pretty as she is on her blog. We talked the night away and almost closed down the restaurant. The waiters had a great time making faces in the background while we were trying to get a good photo out in front of the restaurant.Finally...we got one without an extra in the background. Thanks Kat and George for your friendship and sharing a favorite restaurant with us. Looking forward to next year!
2009 is flying by too fast and I don't know where it's going! Little Dylan turns ONE this week and we are having his party here tomorrow. Gotta go...be back soon!

Your grandchildren are too cute..love the redhead! My husband is a red head -was anyway...more gray now : ) I always thought I'd have redheaded children but mine are both blonde. Maybe my grandchildren.

You, your sister and your neice-you're all so pretty!

oh the babies are precious...and the flowers are too!
what a fun week you had.
At least your "creeper" had a smile on his face in the first shot...our teens here get a kick out of seeing those "surprise" people show up in their photos!

question: where did you get your beautiful cake plates? love the ribbons...I like anything i can make "multi" holiday decorators...would so love to have one for my cakes this summer.
I just turned 50 in February, so you and I are celebrating our JUBILEE year at the same time : )

enjoy your weekend...

Connie, Great post!! I really like family pictures. It helps me to step into your world, and what a good-looking world of people it is. Your two grandchildren are so adorable!! As are the group of the four ladies from your family. Sitting and eating with friends is one of my most treasured pasttimes. So glad that you shared these pictures on your blog.

Hi Connie

We're still buzzing around California...having a ball. It was so much fun getting together with you and Dwight. We MUST do it again.

Your grandchildren are adorable.

Hugs!
Kat
