Random Dozen

Today I'm linking up with Linda from 2nd Cup of Coffee and her Random Dozen.

So here ya go, my answers to TWELVE random questions:

1. Are you pleasant when you're ill, or are you a grumpy, fussy patient? I am a pretty good sick person~usually stay out of the way and sleep it off. Luckily I am not sick much because I DO NOT.
2. When you find out that school is cancelled(due to inclement weather) what is your gut reaction? Never had to deal with inclement weather here in sunny southern California!

3. What is one domestic skill you wish you could improve? Decorating my home. I can go so far but have the hardest time finishing...the small touches and filling in blank spaces. I have a friend that helps me...she needs to come over more often Brenda!!

4. Do you decorate your home for Valentine's Day? Yes just a little

5. What song is on your mind today? It's Gonna Be A Good Day by the Black Eyed Peas

6. Do you prefer contemporary movies or classic? I enjoy both!

7. How well do you "compartmentalize" your feelings? I don't get too upset and am pretty optomistic. I can usually move on and forgive and forget MOST things.

8. What is the first thing that attracted you to your spouse? His good looks and body. :)

9. When was the last time your heart raced? Walking up Mt. Rubidoux

10. What are your memories of Valentine's Day at school? Making our Valentine's boxes and going around to everyone's desk to deliver my valentine's to each person in my class.

11. If you are going to receive candy for Valentine's Day, which would you prefer? Some good chocolate like See's. Yum!!!

12. Red or pink? RED!!!!

Have a great day!
Tomorrow my husband has knee surgery....pray for us!
I'll keep you updated.

ahh...sunny warm weather. Jealous today as we are mid-snow storm.

I could use a decorator at the moment to help with the finishing touches here too.

It was fun reading your answers...hope all goes well with your husband's surgery!

I hear you on the fine touches of decorating. I'm more into practical which leaves things looking a little stark sometimes.

Hoping your hubby's surgery goes smoothly and he has a quick recovery!

I'm not too bad with finishing touches, it's picking the paint color that takes me forever and a day to decide on.

I hope your hubby does well with the knee surgery. They sure have come a long way in doing those. Connie, you just won't believe it but we got 4 more inches of snow this morning. Like really quick,in just a few hours, 4 inches! I was crazy. We could hear thunder and then there would be a small burst of snow! chat with you soon..

You just must be such a fun person! It is always fun to see how you answer questions, and I think it is so nice how proudly and kindly you speak of your husband. That is rare in today's world, and it does my heart good to hear you do it.

I will be praying for you and your husband. My mother had two hip replacements and one knee replacement. They were all successful and she walks today without pain. I wish both of you the very best.

Used to live in sunny southern CA, now in DC! Wah!!

We have a friend from CA that sends us See's candies every Christmas! It's one of our favorite things!

Hope all goes well tomorrow.

You are the first one so far to say "decorating," which is high on my list, too. I just don't seem to have the flair that other women do, for some reason.

Good to "read" you again, Connie! Thanks for playing along this week.
