Should we go see South Fork???

I am so excited! Hubby has a business meeting at the end of the month in Dallas, Texas and I get to go along! I've never been there and am hoping you all can help me with what we should do for the two days that we have to sight see in the Dallas area. I know I want to stay at the Omni Hotel. Other than that...I am researching on line to see what else we can do. A rodeo? Tour of Cowboy stadium? JFK memorial? So help me....will ya??? I've got to keep busy now that Bella and Dylan are gone! :( I'm looking forward to your advice. You all were great when we went to Chicago last year and gave me some great places to visit.

Well first of all...swing by and pick me up...we could do lunch and shop while hubby is in meetings!...lol I have never been there before but can't wait to see what you find to do there. Take your camera, hat and boots!
I would go for the tour of the new Cowboys stadium! but then again, I'm a major Cowboys fan. have fun Connie and take lots of pics to share.

You are one fortunate lady. I really enjoy visiting Dallas, especially since part of my family lives there. There are so many interesting things to see. We walked the route where President Kennedy drove on his final day on this earth. It was a sombering moment for us, but we liked the history of it. We also really liked our visit to Fort Worth. Hope you both have a good time.
I am in Dallas at least a couple of times a month to go to market, and know the city well.....so if you have any questions...

We went to a restaurant called Nick and Sam's in Uptown...so affordable, my delicious dinner was less than 10 bucks and Emmitt Smith and his wife were dining there! Very popular place and when we went it had only been open for 3 weeks. It was delicious!!
We also met up with Liz from Liz'a Letters...if you know her meet up with her if you have time...she's awesome!

What a great treat! I've only driven through Dallas so I can't make any suggestions. Ought to be fun though!
