It's Tuesday!

Another gorgeous day in southern California...this is a shot from my backyard. I am practicing for my photography class.

Hubby is on another job interview (he was laid off on December 30th) so please pray for God's guidance as he seeks employment. He has had 5 interviews with 3 different companies. As with most men his age at this time, he is over qualified and his last salary is over what is currently being budgeted. He may have to take a job with pay from 10 years ago. We were downsizing and beginning to prepare for retirement and this will definitely make us do that sooner! We are just praying for an open door and for a position that he will enjoy and bring his talents to assist the company he goes to work for. We can figure out how to live with less and we know God will provide. He always has and always does.

It's a good day! I just wanted to give you all an update as we walk through this time in our lives.

Looks like you are progressing in your photography class because the picture of your backyard is beautiful!

I am going to pray for your husband and his interviews. The ages of our men and the job searches that many of our friends are on, is truly difficult. I sure do appreciate your attitude and confidence in God's leading and care.

I'm just getting around to catching up on the blogs...so, how did the interview go? hugs and prayers to you! I'm also crossing fingers and toes that the interview went well.

As you might have seen on my last blog post, we have family members who are really struggling financially and are searching desperately for work so I can totally understand your concerns. I promise I will keep you and Dwight in my prayers. I like your attitude. Stay positive.

Hugs!
Kat
