Another Thanksgiving gone!

We had a fabulous day with the hubby's side of the family and our children's families.  We had 16 adults for dinner plus 3 little ones.  Mason made his first visit to grandma and grandpas and met Great Grandma Lenie  and Great Grandpa Ray for the first time.  My SIL, Peggy and her sister, Pam and BIL, Damon and my niece Heather rounded out the group.  The food was good and I ate my fair share!  I do believe this is my favorite meal of the year.  I love pumpkin pie with cool whip too!  I am so thankful to have Ray & Lenie living nearby and this family gathering for over 30+ years.  We are thankful too for those who serve and have served our country.

What a lovely family. We used to have big family gatherings when I was growing up but now our little group for the Holidays is just four. We always have a wonderful time together though. I love pumpkin pie too, but with real whipped cream. Our son likes the canned kind, hubby and I like it done the old fashioned way - whipped by hand. Maybe we're just getting old. Hey, we are.

Gosh you have such a beautiful family! I just finished my 5th piece of pumpkin pie with whip cream. I'm going to have to work out extra hard this week. :-)

It certainly looks like you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I haven't been by in a few days and...wow...so much has been going on. It's been fun catching up.

Hugs!

You have a beautiful family!

I never overdo Thanksgiving dinner because I do not love turkey, dressing, sweet potatoes, or pumpkin pie...it works out great for my long-running diet!

Connie, your family is beautiful and those pictures will really be treasures as the years go by. I'm some years older than you and beginning to understand that those big family holidays are gone for me but the memories are so precious! The pictures will help you remember some wonderful times. Loved the picture of the four generations. We didn't have pumpkin pie but everything else even if there were only four of us here and I don't even have to say, I ate everything! I agree with you, this is my favorite meal of the year. Happy birthday, a little early.

Awww!! Your pictures are beautiful!! What a blessing to have your family close by--not only in miles but also in their hearts.

It looks like you all had a wonderful time, and a new baby, too, to meet all his new relatives.

You're one awesome lady, Connie!!
