What's On Your Wall Wednesday

I'm participating in Barb's What's On Your Wall Wednesday event.  She's the fabulous blogger at Grits and Glamour who has great style and check out her new front porch!  I want to go visit and sit on her front porch with her!
This is a water color that my son, Dallas painted his senior year in high school that I kept and just recently framed and I love it.  It reminds me of our farm heritage.  My mom grew up on a farm in North Dakota.  This is on my wall in my computer/hobby room that I recently cleaned up.  I posted about it a few posts ago.

Have a good day ya'll!  I just got back from Texas and have that southern drawl now ya'll!

I love the picture that your son painted! What a treasure. My son also painted something that my mother has framed and hanging in her home. Maybe next Wall Wednesday...I'll post that one...even though it's not MY wall...but, she has so much more neat wall stuff. Noticed that you turned "50"! I'll be 51 on Sunday, was even born on my Mother's Birthday (21st). Last April, I went to Vegas with 5 friends from HS to celebrate our half century ont his earth. Another classmate lives there and we had a GREAT time. We've totally reconnected and gotten together many times since. Life is good.

Good morning "Ya'll" ;) LOL
And I thought it was Dustin who was the artist! Good job Dallas! It really is nice and I think it's awesome that you finally got it out, framed it and found a wonderful home for you to enjoy it. I'm finding that we keep too many things packed away - and why? Now he is just that much closer to you! And when the grandkids come you can point to it and say "Your Daddy painted that!" How awesome is that?
Have a great day! HUGS!

I love that tree and the shadows. It's a great painting and it is even more special to have one that was created by a special artist.

Good painting! Your son is talented! I'm working on "rehanging" some pictures in my hall and may put pictures up if I ever get it done!

Makes me want to take a trip to the countryside & just relax and soak up the sun. There is something so soothing about your picture. I really like it.

Connie, I missed you and your blog. I just finished reading down through your latest posts, and I enjoyed all the fun things you shared. The great pictures from Texas...including those of your friends with you and your husband. It looked like so much fun. And this latest post regarding what is on your wall? Your son is definitely an artist. What a privilege to have his artwork on your wall. Much better than having the artwork from your child be desserts of every kind. Less calories. I am sure you will always treasure that piece. One more thing, you and your old friend, sure do look young. It seems like neither of you aged over the years.
