It's my day with my precious grandchildren and we are having fun! Bella is playing in the backyard with the sand and water table and with Speed(our dog). Dylan is trying to crawl at 5 months....up on all fours all the time and a very happy baby who smiles ALL the time! He has the biggest brown eyes. Speed can't get enough of Dylan so I've got to watch him when he's in the walker on the back porch with us. Speed likes to give too many kisses!
We started drawing and writing on paper with Bella before she was one. She continues to love to draw with markers, crayons and colored pencils. We introduced her to finger paints recently but doesn't like her hands dirty(like her grandma) so we use a brush. She is so proud of her art work!!!
They are both napping! It's a glorious day!

Hi Connie,
Looks like your having a blast with your grandchildren. My daughter just informed me that she wasn't going to give me grandchildren (she's 16). I just smiled and thought...yea, sure.lol I'm sure that will change.
I'm glad to see I'm not the only one that dances around when no one is home. ;-)
Hi Connie!
So glad to "meet" you! :) Your grandchildren are adorable and looks like you have much fun loving on them.
I'm so glad you are going to do that book with your friend. How neat! I love how Lysa's books are very easy reading and you learn so much from them. I pray that God blesses you and just draws you into a place with Him that you had no idea was even on the map.
I'm pretty excited about this next book too of Lisa Whittle's. She is SO excited about it also and will be very involved. We'll even do something new and have some short video teachings from her. It's going to be awesome and I'm just expecting much from the God that has no clue how to do things small! ;)
Thanks so much for touching base with me and I LOVE the look of your blog and your anniversary date is one of the best dates ever...it's my son's b-day. ;)
Have a blessed Labor Day weekend!
In Him,
Lelia
Ahh, this is the life I look forward to someday when I'm a Grandma!
precious!
Thanks for stopping by to visit my blog! Your grandchildren are precious! Mine flew home today and I miss them already. Our time together is limited by distance :(
About turning 50! I'm 56 and it's not that bad. My mother always told us that the 50 years were her best years ever, so I'm trying to take that to heart. If only my hips didn't hurt! Oh, and spread!!! I'll be back to visit you.
